We use mycelium, a microorganism, to convert feed into food, just like cows or pigs do.

  • Mycelium is the root-like system of mushrooms.
  • The feed contains legumes and other food streams.
  • Mycelium, like animals, eats and digests the feed to grow.

Result is a vegan cake with meat-like texture and umami. 

This process has been used in the food industry for >1,000 years. We expand it to new centre of the plate pieces like vegan meat and beyond. We filed 2 patents.
